PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

The Point Source LED’s chip is emitted through a well-defined circular area, typically 50 µm ~ 150 µm in diameter.  Due to this unique structure, no reflection of bonding wire on the light and flat emitting is realized.  The light produced appears as a “spot beam” producing very narrow, almost parallel viewing angles.  This is perfectly suitable for applications which require a near-parallel light source such as high-resolution encoder, measuring instruments and CCD Camera etc,.
